I wasn't altogether sure what to expect when I started my chiropractic education, but it turned out to be one of the more inspired decisions that I have made.....(clearly my wife and my son are testimony that lightning can strike twice!).

I discovered chiropractic care through Rugby - I was suffering continual neck spasms and blinding headaches as a result of injuries to my neck through the every day rough and tumble of the sport. After painkillers failed to solve the problems, my GP - a family friend - suggested that I try going to the AECC chiropractic college in my home town of Bournemouth. After a couple of treatments from an intern at the college I was free of pain and restriction (you tend to heal faster when you are young!), and also had an inkling of where my future career lay...

I enrolled at the AECC for the start of my four-year chiropractic degree course in 1987. At the time it was the only registered chiropractic college in the UK, and our graduating class became the first to be awarded degree status. What surprised me the most was the hours and detail that were involved - I have since discovered that they are virtually the same as medical and dental degrees. I loved the fact that from day one at college we were learning to palpate spines and developing our hands-on skills, ready for our future careers.

Windsor Remedy Centre has been developed to allow us to not only provide premium quality health care through chiropractic, but to integrate this as well with complimentary professions such as physiotherapy and massage. This allows our patients to experience the best of all worlds, and as practitioners we can tailor optimal treatment plans to each individual patient. Whilst we follow all relevant clinical guidelines, we have a very holistic approach to our patients' health and wellness.

I particularly enjoy treating families; paediatric care is a special interest of mine, and there is nothing more satisfying in clinic than seeing three different generations of the same family coming in for their check-ups. Patients and staff alike all seem to enjoy being at the clinic, and that to me shows that we are working along the right lines...

I married my beautiful wife, Raquel, after a whirlwind romance spread over ten years! Our first child arrived in June 2007. Beyond the occasional mild panic of early parenthood, we love to socialise with friends in London or Raquel's home town of Barcelona. Good food and fine wine come high on our list of priorities, along with exploring the many countries (at least the hot ones) of the world.

To counteract my social life and to allow me to keep working, I am a regular in the gym and swimming pool. I receive chiropractic check-ups at least once a month to maintain a healthy spine and keep my golf swing functioning! This approach works as I cannot remember the last day I missed through illness or pain. Painkillers and medicines are strangers in our house.

Thanks for visiting our site. I look forward to meeting you in person and learning how we may be of service to you. Give our office a call, or email me using the link below and let's arrange a time to explore your options.

I grew up in Maidenhead where I now live with my husband, baby daughter, 2 cats and a Labrador!

I graduated from Surrey University in 2004 and since then have enjoyed working locally as a chiropractor. I have a keen interest the in the treatment and care of pre and post-natal women and paediatrics.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, walking our dog and have recently started horse riding again.

I have been receiving chiropractic care for many years, valuing the fantastic health benefits that it afforded me. So a career in chiropractic just seemed the natural progression!

I completed my chiropractic studies at the University of Surrey. Since joining Windsor Remedy Centre in 2003 I have built up a large family clinic with patients of all ages, and especially enjoy receiving family referrals from existing patients – it really is the ultimate compliment!

My post-graduate studies are focused on sacro-occipital technique and paediatric chiropractic. I was delighted to welcome my daughter Jessica to the world last year, and look forward to the arrival of her brother / sister in September 2007!

My husband, Greg, and I are pretty active (especially now that Jessica is more mobile!), and the regular chiropractic care that I am receiving through my pregnancy is keeping me healthy and strong - and more importantly – working well, so that I can care for my patients.

I am a graduate from the AECC and was very pleased to join the team at the Windsor Remedy Centre this summer. I chose the remedy centre due to its excellent reputation, the great experience of both Russell and Gerald as chiropractors, and for the wide range of therapies offered at the centre, allowing easy integration to combine complementary therapies to benefit patient’s holistic health.

I became a chiropractor after experiencing how chiropractic management helped me, after injuring my back playing football which at first I dismissed as one of those things, believing it would go away by its self. I left it alone and carried on playing, until I could hardly kick a ball due to the pain in my back.

After the frustration of seeing my Dr who told me to stop playing football, but did not offer any insight into the problem or treatment, my father, who had great success with chiropractic care for his back, booked me in to see his practitioner. I have to admit I was very sceptical and did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised that I had a simple problem that was fully explained to me and after a couple of treatments my back felt pain free and I resumed playing. From my experience I wanted to learn more about chiropractic and soon made my mind up that I wanted to be able to help other people the way I had been helped.
